Amid the bride's feminine wedding plans with her dress, flowers, invitations, and wedding cake, the groom's cake provides a way for the groom to make a statement of his own personality. Whether served the evening before at the rehearsal dinner, allowing a way to break the ice, or sitting proudly next to the bride's cake at the reception, it will bring the groom into the spotlight, even if only for a moment. The groom's cake is most often a rich chocolate confection, or another favorite flavor of the groom's, in some type of design representing his favorite interest such as a school symbol, car, airplane, or bike. A 7" round individual cake will serve a table of 8 to 12 guests. A 5" and 8" two-tiered cake can be used for your cake cutting, pictures, and to serve the head table with the top tier to save for your first anniversary cake (or for breakfast).
